High RAM Usage !!!
Quote from tongnhattruong on November 13, 2024, 6:30 amCould you please check this set for me, admin? I'm wondering why it's consuming so much RAM, while other sets with similar amounts of data don't have this issue. Due to this problem, I can't use this set on my laptop anymore. Could you please provide me with your email address so I can send you the link or add it to Google Drive? Unfortunately, I can't make this set public.
Thank you for your help and I hope you can look into this for me.

It seems that you used some VSTs in the set, which occupies about 3 to 4 GB of RAM.
If you don't need the VSTs, delete the file with the extension "External" before opening the set.

Quote from tongnhattruong on November 15, 2024, 1:46 pmI've deleted the External file according to the set, but it's still occupying RAM. If I load that Set for about 20 minutes, the RAM usage will decrease. I've also deleted the VST, but the problem persists.

Can you remove all VSTs from the set (via FX/VST/Effect window) if you don't need them?
And did you Compress the set? it can help.

Quote from tongnhattruong on November 15, 2024, 3:11 pmYes, I've removed all VSTs from the set (via the FX/VST/Effect window), but the high RAM usage is still happening. Is there a solution to restore my set to its newest state to reduce RAM usage? Remaking each style is not a good solution.

I tried many methods, but the memory was never less than 10 GB!
I think this is due to the large number of items (rhythm, track, note, ...).
Maybe the only way is to split the set into several files.

Quote from tongnhattruong on November 16, 2024, 6:38 amI've converted my style to Yamaha format and added it to a new Set with my instrument files. It's using less than 1GB of RAM, but manually assigning instruments to each track is taking forever. If I export it as *.style again, it'll use up more RAM. Do you know any way to export as *.sty and keep the original instrument assignments?
